Public Speaking Course:
Wake 'em Up!
Do you ever forget a public speaker's name just an hour after you heard the
presentation? Do you want people to remember you and what information you told
them? Do you want them to talk about you in the hallways? In a good way? In my
public speaking course you will learn many ways to be a No Zzzz's Wake 'em up
presenter.
When using "Wake 'em Up" skills, like what I teach in my book and
public speaking course, you use some crazy opening that grabs 'em by the
circuits in their brain and has their total attention fixated on what you will
do next. Jim Ziegler memorizes the name of each participant in the room, and
pretty much everyone loves to hear his or her own name. My friend Mike Stahl
breaks six solid concrete blocks.
I'm not smart enough to memorize, or strong enough to pulverize, so I shoot
confetti or fire in the air. It makes them wake up and listen to what I have to
say intently. You could do a beautiful painting quickly like Conni Gordon might
do, or you could ride in on a white horse for all I care. Just do not let them
stay in their comas while using your Wake 'em Up techniques from my public
speaking course! That is my book title, and that is your job as a public
speaker.
